Who will I be working with? You will be working alongside military personnel, federal employees, and other government contractors. You will be supporting the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Operations Command (SpOC).

What level Clearance do I need? You must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

What will I be doing? Using your experience and expertise in Defensive Cyber Operations, you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) supporting the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Operations Command (SpOC) in providing continuous cybersecurity monitoring, intrusion detection, cyber incident responses, and developing defensive countermeasures. In addition, you will be:

• Analyzing cyber incidents, correlating incident details and formulating response actions;
• Providing recommendations on tuning and maximizing capability of existing tools;
• Providing recommendations for other tools to increase capability;
• Monitoring government-provided DCO tools and systems;
• Conducting after-action processes to capture efforts taken to mitigate unauthorized actions;
• Participating in the development of DCO tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs);
• Participating in development of DCO concept of operations, processes and procedures;
• Identifying security discrepancies and report security incidents;
• Providing expert research and analysis in support of expanding programs and area of responsibility; and
• Other duties as assigned.

What experience, training, and education do I need?

You must meet the minimum requirements:

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
• At least three (3) years of related Cybersecurity/IT experience, to include experience performing continuous cybersecurity monitoring, intrusion, detection and cyber incident response
• At lease one (1) active DoD 8570.07-M Cyber Security Services Provider (CSSP) Analyst Certification, and/or
• At least one (1) of the following Incident Responder certifications: CEH, CySA , GCIH, GCIA, CFR, CCNA CyberOps, CCNA-Security, GICSP, Cloud , SCYBER, PenTest , CHFI or GCFA
• Ability to perform shift work (day shift or night shift, to be determined on hire)

The following is preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher, or equivalent experience
• Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) experience
• Familiarity with space operations
