• Position Title: Data Solutions Consultant

Overview:

You will apply business knowledge and technical expertise in developing tools to help make data driven decisions, report on program performance, and build efficiencies into daily work products and processes. Develop recommendations and maintain documentation for improvements to existing data, systems and system configuration, and processes in support of business activities and provide technical assistance for developed applications to all end users.

Successful candidates should be able to demonstration the following knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:

• Proactively identify and solve problems collaboratively while adhering to regulations and policies.
• Navigate ambiguity adeptly, gathering crucial information for informed decision-making.
• Develop and manage large datasets, integrating diverse data sources and platforms effectively.
• Exhibit strong negotiation skills, along with proficiency in time management, team leadership, business process engineering, and enterprise architecture, complemented by advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and deep understanding of project interrelationships within government frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in navigating ambiguity and extracting critical information.
• Ability to develop and manage large datasets across various platforms.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and application of enterprise architecture principles, coupled with expertise in business process improvement and team leadership.
• MS applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project, and SharePoint and other business intelligence and reporting toolsets.

Additional Considerations:

• Familiarity with federal and state transportation regulations and policies.
• Experience in research, evaluation principles, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify solutions.
• Knowledge of transportation planning, project development, and finance.
• Background in handling large datasets, teamwork in problem-solving, and implementing solutions across diverse fields like Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Information Management Systems, and related areas.

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
