Act as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient and recognizes that interpretation and diagnosis are outside the scope of practice for the profession. Use equipment and accessories, employ techniques and procedures, perform services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrate expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Current State of Texas License as a Radiology Technologist. Minimum of an Associate Degree in Applied Science-Radiology or trained in a hospital based program (AMA approved). ARRT (R), MUST be (CT) registered Successful completion of cross sectional anatomy. Must have 2 years of experience as a diagnostic technologist. Equipment: GE VCT 64 - Medrad Injectors Housing in NO longer included.
