- 7:30 AM3 x 12 hour shifts Weekend Requirement: As many as needed minimum every otherHol Description: Job Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient s needs.-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.-Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.-Initiates assessment based on the patient s problems or needs, the physician s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.-Manages care of patients.-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.-Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. - For example, would go to the emergency room to care for ICU patients and then bring them to the ICU when the bed is assigned and remain with them in the ICU. -This unit is very high acuity, Nurse needs strong skills with multiple high risk medication ventilator patients Central lines Arterial lines -Unit is extremely busy patient assignments will include two or three ICU patients-CRITICAL CARE MINIMUM 3 years bedside high acuity icu experience Preferred Skills & Experience:-N/A RequiredCentral lines Arterial lines high risk medication ventilator patientsICUAdditionalEducation: Required Education:-ASN.Preferred Education:-BSN.Required Certifications & Licensure:-BLS must have AHA.Preferred Certifications & Licensure:-N/A;Languages: English Read Write Speak English(Speak, Read, Write)Job Category: Clinical Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks:89
