Certifications: Active nursing license in good standing (with compact if indicated), BLS required, ACLS required, current NIH (must be certified annually) Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: CPap and BiPap management, Port access, therapeutic phlebotomy Must have: Telemetry and EKG interpretation, post-Percutaneous Coronary Intervention experience, experience with Cardiac and anti-arrhythmic IV infusions management and titration, CPap and BiPap management Advanced skills needed: preferred experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vac, drains, post-dialysis assessment, central lines, blood transfusions Procedures performed on unit: telemetry monitoring, paracentesis (physician led), BiPap, therapeutic phlebotomy Certifications Required: Active nursing license in good standing (with compact if indicated), BLS required, ACLS required, current NIH (must be certified annually) Dress Code: (Required uniform) Navy blue or Gray scrubs. The unit is home to several travelers who have continued to extend contracts due to our excellent teamwork and amazing staff. We are proud to say that we have had zero turnover for our Progressive Car nursing staff since September 2022. The unit is fully supported with a director and Manger, as well as a clinical educator. We have excellent interdisciplinary communication and collaboration with all providers. We are continuously requesting and receiving new equipment and supplies.
