These include decontamination of soiled instrumentation and equipment, stocking of shelves, issuing patient care supplies and equipment, preparing supplies for surgical cases, performing routine departmental preventative maintenance, maintaining departmental charge and tracking information, and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssesses equipment and instrument needs as they relate to each department of the hospital.Plans activities based on specific procedures being performed.Implements activities to efficiently maintain and distribute equipment and instruments.Evaluate the cleanliness and safety of the unit as well as the number and the amount of supplies required to maintain adequate levels within the department.Self Management: Demonstrates effective communication skills and interpersonal relationships.
