No, need at least 1 travel assignmentCase and peds, but minimal pedsGeneral surgeries (open and laparoscopic) bowel, gallbladder, appendix, hernias, portacath, fistulasUrology laser lithotripsy, nephroureteral stent insertion/removal, vasectomies, TURPsENT TAs, endoscopic sinus, facial lesions, thyroids, nick dissectionOBGYN C-sections, tubal ligations, DCs, DEs, hysteroscopies, hysterectomies, uterine ablationsOrtho Total joints (knees and hips, only a few shoulders), fractures, wrists, ankles, ACL repairs, fingers, carpal tunnel, rods (bipolar and nailings); podiatry (can be trained)Endoscopies EGDs and colonoscopies (experience not required)Do not need robotics experienceNo conscious sedation casesAll staff will help turn over roomsCases performed per day (average):Average about 25 cases per dayRequired Licensure and Certifications:RN: BLS, ACLSScrub Tech: BLS, CSTSkills required:RN: Experience with above case typesScrub experience preferred but not required; will be circulatingCerner or EPIC experience requiredScrub Tech: Ok if no experience with total joints, podiatry, or endoscopy cases, but need to be willing to be trainedOk if no OB/C-section experience, but need to be comfortable with at least open abdominal cases and be willing to be trained in c-sectionsExperience with all other case types listed aboveSupport on the anesthesiologist (Monday Thursday)Anesthesia Tech will help turn over roomCharge RN2 resource nursesOR Educator (part of the resource nurses)RT 24/7Hospitalist 24/7PhlebotomyTechnology/: Cerner Cerner or EPIC experience required for RNsIV pumps: AlarisMedication dispensing: PyxisFloating: If yes, where?May float to inpatient areas as a task person/helping hands will not assume a patient assignmentOrientation: 1 week of orientationWill be with call buddy during orientation weekFirst week of orientation will work five 8h hours: Monday Friday, 0700-1730Weekend rotation: Call only see belowShift: Everyone works 10h shifts with a rotating day offManager will make call schedule, typically made for about 6 weeks at a time.Call required for RN and call shifts per month on averageWeekday: typically 1-2 call shifts.
