INFOJINI is Hiring an Accountant Near New York, NY
Examples of the specific responsibilities:
- Prepare year-end journal entries;
- Assist with the preparation of year-end bank reconciliations;
- Assist with the preparation of year-end deliverables requested;
- Assist with the preparation of the general-purpose financial statements;
- Analyze all related entity activities particularly related to general ledger and treasury accounting;
- Reconcile general ledger accounts;
- Prepare all transactions for funds activities, financial statement data, footnote disclosures and entries as assigned;
- Assist in preparing management and financial reports as assigned;
- Work on special projects, and other duties as assigned.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- Knowledge of GASB reporting requirements strongly preferred
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency using MS Excel spreadsheet functions to perform complex
- data analyses (vlookup, pivot tables, sorting) strongly preferred
- PeopleSoft ERP systems experience preferred
- Detail oriented and accurate with strong numerical analysis, evaluation and research skills
- Strong writing, verbal, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Work effectively individually and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders of various
- organizational levels, and follow up and complete assignments
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting
- Professional accounting or financial licensure/certification preferred
- At least two (2) years of related experience
