Job DescriptionBasic Qualifications:

• Education:
• High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• In the absence of a High School diploma, GED, or AA/AS degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
• Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Hardware design fundamentals.
• Experience with and understanding of design methodologies.
• Intermediate proficiency in SolidWorks and SEPDM.
• Ability to create mechanical designs using CAD tools with full PMI (Product Manufacturing Information).
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) application principles, with certification preferred.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and SEPDM.
• Familiarity with ASME specifications.
• Knowledge in the design of cables and harnesses, including wire routing capabilities within CAD assemblies.
• Previous experience working on government/military programs.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $21.82 - $30.00 per hour
