Medical Practice Assistant needed in Jamaica Plain, MA

This is working in Neurology department.

This is 10% clinical // 90% admin

Type: Temporary to Permanent

Start date: First week of August

Shift: Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm or 8.30am-5pm

Essential functions:

• Mainly doing vital signs (no rooming patients as doctors do them)
• Handle Prior authorizations
• Check in and check out patients
• Check phone messages
• Prescription refills
• Front end position

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience
• Covid vaccination (two doses)
