What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically proficient Data Analyst to join our North America Technology & Transformation team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis and a keen interest in driving transformation through technology enablement with a Business-first mindset. With an excellent command of various data analytics tools, programming languages, and statistical techniques, the successful candidate will harness data from disparate sources, providing actionable insights to drive decision-making and strategic planning. You should be able to identify patterns and trends in data sets, creating clear visual, written, and verbal reports to help the company improve its efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Further, we are looking for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a deep understanding of IT systems and transformation strategies. Your ability to present findings effectively through interactive dashboards and data visualizations tailored to different stakeholder needs and business objectives is key. Experience with machine learning and AI technologies is beneficial, though not required, and project management techniques which can be harnessed to automate and optimize our business processes.
The Data Analyst’s role is to design data modeling/analysis services used to mine enterprise systems and applications for knowledge and information that enhance business processes. This individual is also responsible for assisting in building, deploying, and maintaining data support tools, business intelligence dashboards, and definitions for database file/table creation to empower our industry verticals and product innovation.
Role Accountability and Duties:
Planning & Stakeholder Engagement
Establish data and reporting requisites for new products and services, leading the implementation of reporting strategies with internal and external teams
Participate in nurturing an innovative culture and design thinking with our business stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in research, customer experience, and business domains to define KPIs, formulate hypotheses, measure performance, and deliver insights that shape strategy, inform transformation roadmaps, and optimize customer experience
Convey research findings, offer informed suggestions, and aid in the interpretation of data with stakeholders across different organizational levels
Reporting, Analytics, and Decision Support
Translate complex data into compelling narratives, dashboards, reports, and elegant data visualizations that resonate with non-technical audiences
Employ exploratory, correlational, and inferential data analysis techniques to answer queries about our users, key customer behaviors, and business operations
Develop in-depth, strategic data analysis that drives technological advancement, enhances efficiency, and uncovers novel opportunities for innovation
Combine and interrelate data from various sources via common threads to provide a wholistic picture of our business, its customers, and pathways for organizational excellence
Operational Management
Build, deploy, and maintain data support tools, business intelligence dashboards, and definitions for database file/table creation to empower our industry verticals and product innovation
Establish and maintain a comprehensive data and insights management process/framework
Stay updated on the latest data analytics and enterprise data management methodologies and technologies, applying learned knowledge to current projects and sharing insights with the team
Identify quality concerns with our organization’s data as you gain familiarity, prompting discussions with internal data teams and suggesting improvements to be made at the ingestion/processing steps
What you bring to the team
A solid comprehension of data analysis, data modelling & visualization techniques, and business intelligence concepts
Highly self-motivated and meticulous, with keen attention to detail in handling intricate data and delivering precise analysis
Demonstrable critical thinking and problem-solving skills, wherein complex problems are paired with complex yet elegant solutions
Proficiency in written, oral, and interpersonal communication, with the ability to simplify complex data into user-friendly insights
Capability to conduct detailed research into data-related issues and deliver valuable insights to enhance business processes and products
An innovative mindset with the ability to generate ideas that drive technological advancement and efficiency in our operations
An understanding of cross-functional team dynamics and experience working with diverse teams like research, customer experience, and business domains
Relevant hands-on experience in data-related, business analysis, or statistics roles. Technical Certification in data analytics tools (like SQL, MS Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
Proven ability in the design and management of data pipelines, and in the creation, management, and maintenance of business intelligence dashboards and reports
