Job Description
CSP (Convenience Store Petroleum) is the leading authority in the industry, renowned for its premier editorial content, top-tier events, extensive audience reach, and a dedicated sales force. We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Junior Sales Coordinator. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the development and commercial growth of CSP across digital, print, and events platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support: Assist in managing client accounts within an assigned territory, providing exceptional support and addressing client inquiries and needs promptly.
Sales Assistance: Support senior sales staff in promoting CSP offerings, including digital advertising space, print publications, and event sponsorships, to both existing and prospective clients.
Event Coordination: Assist in coordinating logistics for key industry events, conferences, and trade shows where CSP participates, ensuring smooth execution and maximizing brand exposure.
Relationship Nurturing: Contribute to building and maintaining strong client relationships by actively engaging with clients, understanding their requirements, and assisting in providing tailored solutions.
Sales Growth Initiatives: Participate in sales initiatives aimed at meeting and exceeding revenue targets, including identifying new business opportunities and assisting in the implementation of sales strategies.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and administrative departments, to ensure efficient coordination and support for client initiatives.

Qualifications
  1. Collaborative Approach: Ability to collaborate effectively with the teams to ensure accurate representation of clients and content, even if your experience in this area is limited.
  2. Research Skills: Capability to conduct thorough research on companies aiming to influence and access key market communities. While extensive experience in this area is not required, a willingness to learn and develop these skills is essential.
  3. Performance Metrics: Comfortable with meeting call and proposal metrics, or a willingness to adapt to such metrics as part of the role.
  4. Independence: Experience or willingness to work independently on projects, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
  5. Sales Exposure: Ideally, you'll have at least some exposure to sales environments, whether through internships, part-time roles, or entry-level positions.
  6. Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, communication, and planning skills, even if you're early in your career.
  7. Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, with a willingness to learn new software tools as needed. While experience with Salesforce or similar products is a plus, it's not mandatory for this junior role.
  8. Commercial Awareness: Demonstrated awareness of commercial factors impacting sales and marketing activities, or a willingness to develop this awareness through on-the-job learning.
  9. Digital Aptitude: Basic digital literacy and an eagerness to enhance your digital skills in line with the demands of the role.

Salary Range:
  • Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $75,00 plus benefits.
