Sr. Lead Cloud Engineer AWS Consultant - Job Description:

Our client is looking to transition its B2B portal to AWS. As part of this project, they are looking for an experienced and self-directed Cloud Engineer to help their team with this migration. The ideal candidate would use his or her past experience working in AWS to help their team design, build and integrate the cloud environment into our existing development processes.

Sr. Lead Cloud Engineer AWS Consultant - Responsibilities:

• Work with solution team to design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud-based solutions.

• Develop standards, practices, and security documentation for various aspects of cloud operations aligned with department standards and security policies.

• Planning and adhering to cloud adoption roadmaps.

• Design and implement cloud deployment methodologies and processes.

• Design and implement cloud monitoring methodologies and processes.

• Troubleshooting deployed cloud applications for performance issues and/or application errors.

Sr. Lead Cloud Engineer AWS Consultant - Required Skills:

• Strong practical AWS experience including, but not limited to: Amplify, API Gateway, AppSync, Cognito, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, Aurora RDS, IAM, Lambda, S3, SES, SNS, SQS.

• Proficient in AWS security practices (IAM, roles, encryption, firewalls, etc.). Familiarity with modern cloud application architecture.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and implementation.

• Understanding of general security best practices for cloud solutions.

• Experience in providing support to production systems, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.

• Experience with creating documentation on services and systems support processes.
