Role Description
ITEC is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Top Secret Clearance). As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software and firmware for mission-critical programs. This role is located in Westminster, CO, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience in embedded software development and firmware design
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C , Python, and assembly languages
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux
- Knowledge of software development processes, tools, and methodologies
- Experience with version control systems and bug tracking tools
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with designing real time, embedded flight software and firmware for satellite systems is strongly desired.
