Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Duration: 07/29/24 to 10/26/24 (13 Weeks)
Hours per Week: 40
Shift: 8H Rotating, 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract position. The ideal candidate must have significant MRI experience, preferably with GE equipment, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all technical and mechanical aspects of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• Position patients and adjust technical factors based on patient age, condition, and communication ability.
• Evaluate and identify normal/abnormal anatomy and pathology, adjusting exam scope as needed.
• Collaborate with Radiologists to review and discuss exams.
• Respond to medical emergencies and maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and medical personnel.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited MRI program or current R.T. (MRI) (ARRT) registration.
• R.T. (MR) (ARRT) and MRI registration required.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• COVID vaccine and booster required; medical exemptions accepted.
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions accepted.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and Point of Care Testing.
