Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Pay Rate: $24 to $25/Hr.
Duration: 6 months
Location: Beltsville, MD
Shift - 1st Shift
We are looking for Mechanical Assembly Technician
Requirement:
- Manufacturing technician supporting all of our loop heat pipe programs
- Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Previous fabrication experience or Aerospace mechanical assembly desired.
- Strong mechanical aptitude to include the ability to read and interpret drawings
- HS diploma/GED with 2-3 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience in aerospace
- Familiar with hand tools and good math/geometry skills
- Operate equipment such as hand tools and power machinery for processing metals, composites, and wood
- Activities include processingloop heat pipes, testing, bonding thermal components, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
