We are looking for Payroll Specialist

Position Overview:

• The Sr. Payroll Processing Analyst is responsible for proactive collaboration with customers and key internal business partners, and for ensuring consistent, timely, and high-quality processing of payroll.
• The Sr. Payroll Processing Analyst ensures the timely and accurate delivery of payroll processing in compliance with all laws and regulations as well as provides accounting and reporting support.
• This role will include a review of legislative, contractual, and policy-driven changes, the impact on integrations, and the implementation of appropriate changes.
• The individual must be highly motivated and a self-starter, have a customer-first mindset, and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accurate and timely processing and analysis of payroll-related transactions in compliance with the company policies and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations; assist in quarter-end and year-end activities
• Responsible for compliance with payroll-related internal controls and maintaining and improving internal control procedures and processes; maintain process documentation and procedures to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and reliability of the established payroll processes and controls
• Perform payroll system testing for patches, enhancements, and upgrades to validate expected functionality as designed; recommend and implement system and procedural improvements
• Initiate, lead, and/or actively participate in special projects that meet the needs of customers
• Cross-train with other team members to ensure adequate coverage, accurate and consistent information, and timeliness of processing; provide training to team members
• Analysis and validation of payroll processing results using technology - reports and macros
• Assists in transitions in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including but not limited to, analysis of payroll impacts, as needed for the domestic and international payrolls.
• Support for payroll system testing implementation.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by the manager.

Required Knowledge/Skills:

• 5 years of experience in all aspects of payroll, including supporting payroll system implementation
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to meet critical deadlines, manage priorities and workflow, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Advanced Excel level, proficient with all Office applications
• Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud or ERP systemsis highly preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
