Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Data Modeler with experience in data warehousing, ETL and PL/SQL. The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
• Atleast 4 years of experience with Information Technology
• 2 years of development experience in creating Logical and Physical Data model and understanding of the Source systems in Financial Services Domain.
• Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data using Erwin Data Modeler
• 2 years of experience with PL/SQL development
• Should be self-driven, innovative and research oriented, develops solutions tailored to addressing specific problems/ needs
• Understanding of SDLC, data modelling, data management and be adept in Agile execution methodologies
• Participates in proof of concept executions, architecture discussions and validates complex technical solution when required
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good experience in identifying the client / market needs and propose impactful solutions
• Good understanding of the Source systems in Banking and Financial Services domain and data architecture
• Good expertise in impact analysis due to changes or issues
• Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models and evaluating existing data systems
• Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
• Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
• Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
• Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
• Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
