- Overseeing financial reports preparation through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Review financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Sales Tax returns processing oversight
- Payroll processing oversight
- Preparation or Review of adjusting journal entries.
- Managing the progress of Bookkeeping Department projects
- Assist the client in the onboarding stage, along with any clean up and catch-up accounting/bookkeeping work.
- Consulting clients on accounting matters.
- Training and onboarding new accounting staff.
- Supervising and management of accounting staff.
- Maintaining email communication with team members and clients on a daily basis
- Take directions and report to the Partners.
- Effective time management and communication skills to ensure all deadlines are met and workflow does not get backed up.
- The best fit for this role will have at least 5 years' experience working with a CPA firm, managing a team, and taking on leadership responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience working with QuickBooks Online and Desktop is required.
- Ability to manage time and stress management with great communication skills.
- Highly motivated and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Detail oriented and the ability to prioritize and focus in a high-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and equivalent accounting software.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time permanent basis.
