- Create detailed architectural designs and plans for various projects, including residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements. Provide expert advice and recommendations.
- Oversee all phases of project development, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the design is executed as planned and address any issues that arise during construction.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, verify compliance with design specifications, and address any construction issues.
- Maintain high standards of design quality and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- 10 years of experience in architectural and/or tenant improvement projects
- Proven ability to prepare and oversee construction drawings for general contractors and permit submissions
- Experience managing project teams and coordinating with engineering consultants
- Proficiency in Revit, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp (Enscape knowledge is a bonus but not required)
- AutoCAD skills and LEED certification are also advantageous
