- Grow new sales by identifying leads, sending samples, driving the sales pipeline, and leveraging personal, broker/distributor networks to gain new sales
- Manage existing customers by building relationships with key stakeholders including buyers, distributors, brokers and business partners. Understand their needs to drive mutually beneficial outcomes and nurture long-term relationships
- Participate in offline marketing activities such as expos to generate new leads and pitch products to prospective buyers
- Work with internal product strategy and R&D team to develop new products by sharing customer insights and buyer feedback
- Establish and own sales targets and budgets, track and communicate progress on a regular basis with the internal team using Salesforce application
- Build and update sales toolkits with internal teams for existing and new products.
- 7-10 years of Food service sales experience, preferably in frozen/plant-based items
- Have network in the US food service market
- Ability to work independently to navigate fast-changing, high-growth environments and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to think creatively to solve problems and adopt new ways of driving sales in a traditional retail environment
- A genuine interest and passion for expanding plant-based diets to the mainstream
- Ability to travel as necessary and be based in the Los Angeles area
