Infrahire is Hiring a Mold Designer Near Rapids, IA
- As a Mold Designer, you will use Solid Modeling CAD software (Creo or SolidWorks) to create models, drawings, and bills of materials for plastic injection molds.
- CAD software will also be used for part model analysis, mass property calculations, and interference checks.
- You will develop injection and structural foam mold designs based on OEM-supplied part models.
- These mold designs should include parting line splits, cooling systems, ejection mechanisms, and other features that are cost-effective for MSI to manufacture and robust for our customers.
- High School Diploma and currently pursuing an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
