InfraHire is looking for a Plastic Molding Technician in Hillsboro, KS. Job Description:As a Plastic Molding Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes. Responsibilities:
- Ensures machinery and mechanical equipment operate smoothly by performing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoots malfunctions.
- Identifies sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Assesses changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts with rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
