- Preparation of accurate and concise bids, estimates and administrative documentation.
- Review estimates and bids for proper scope coverage and efficient production.
- Conduct detailed job cost analysis and review.
- Project scheduling.
- MOF preparation and distribution
- Buyout subcontractors and vendors to maximize company ROI.
- Schedule and manage pre-production meetings with supervisors.
- Contract administration including change orders, invoicing and receivables.
- Monitor production for budget cost control.
- Accurately read, interpret, and analyze construction plans.
- Negotiate, prepare, and review contracts with clients and vendors.
- Autonomously close out projects.
- Assist production managers in the analysis of material, subcontractor and equipment to purchase.
- Assist develop project managers on the team.
- Work with CTI leadership to provide feedback to continue to develop the project management team's procedures and policies.
- All other job-related tasks, as assigned.
- 10 years Commercial and/or Heavy Highway Construction experience required.
- 2 - 4 years' technical school or equivalent education. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient skills in Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and proofreading skills.
- Understanding local market conditions.
- Professional, friendly, team player who carries a positive attitude with a get-it-done mentality.
- Flexible and adaptable to market fluctuations.
- Ability to discuss projects, in their entirety, with customers and vendors.
- Well-groomed and a professional demeanor.
- Master of assigned duties.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and general, non-DOT physical.
