Responsibilities
- Oversee the Tax & Accounting Staff
- Assist the Director and Owner in managing firm operations
- Evaluate client financial statements
- Prepare and approve individual and business tax returns Schedule and conduct client appointments
- Communicate with external tax agencies on behalf of clients
- Engage in networking efforts for acquiring new clients
- Provide guidance to the bookkeeping and payroll team, addressing questions when necessary
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in tax preparation
- Possession of a current CPA license or Enrolled Agent certification, or a minimum of 4 years of combined tax and accounting experience
- Proficiency in tax and accounting software, with expertise in Drake Tax Software considered a plus
- Required proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop
