Ingenium Talent is working with a Louisville-area client in their search for a full-time IT Compliance Analyst. Our client is a fast-growing leader in their industry and adding this critical role due to growth. As an IT Compliance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to information technology. Your expertise will help them maintain a secure and compliant environment while minimizing risk. Responsibilities

  • Compliance Monitoring : Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to evaluate the companies IT systems, processes, and controls. Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Policy Development : Collaborate with legal and leadership teams to develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure alignment with industry standards (e.g., SOX, NIST, HIPAA).
  • Risk Management : Assist in the development and implementation of risk management frameworks. Evaluate risks associated with IT processes and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including audit findings, risk assessments, and policy updates.
  • Liaison with Government Agencies : Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies. Respond to inquiries, provide documentation, and facilitate compliance-related communication.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience : Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in IT compliance, internal audit, or a similar role.
  • Certifications (Preferred) : CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)

Technical Skills :

  • Strong understanding of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) guidelines.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations.
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex compliance concepts to diverse audiences.
  • A meticulous approach to documentation and compliance tracking.
