Responsibilities:
- Provide resident/client care under direction of nursing staff, according to care plans
- Assist with ADL's
- Provide companionship and basic care, may include some laundry duties
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment to provide best possible quality of life for residents and clients
- Establishes a professional relationship with the residents
- Lifts, moves, and transports residents, using proper body mechanics for accident prevention.
- Communicates and interacts effectively with the geriatric resident, visitors, families, peers and supervisor
- Must be able to work every other weekend
- Previous experience in nursing, senior care, home health or other related fields
- COVID-19 Vaccinated
- Complete drug screening, PPD, and background check
- Ability to build rapport with residents/clients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to work well in teams and individually
- Ability to lift items that weight up to 50lbs
- $2/hr for Homecare clients
