TITLE: Electrical Engineer LOCATION: Ingredion is hiring a Pant Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership in support of maintenance and operation of the site power distribution systems, and to ensure continuous improvement in the system reliability. The PLANT SERVICES Group is focused on providing technical and operational support services to ensure more efficient and reliable plant production operations.

As a PLANT ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing and coordinating the execution of the annual MV preventative maintenance program.
- Monitoring key performance variables in the electrical distribution system and coordinating tactical countermeasures to address risks to system reliability and safety.
- Knowledge of Motor Controls, MCCs, VFDs, Wye-Delta starters, Medium Voltage starters,
- Understanding of Control Systems and PLCs, DCS,
- Background in plant instrumentation; Pressure, flow, temperature, pHs,
- Developing and executing against strategic capital plans, ensuring delivery of scope within cost and timeline expectations.
- Providing expert troubleshooting support related to electrical and power distribution systems.
- Maintaining technical documentation for power distribution system, including design data, process models, and historical performance data.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards including: OSHA, ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, and NEMA.
- Driving continuous improvement in electrical system reliability through the Preventative Maintenance Optimization (PMO) cycle, and through root cause analysis (RCA).
- Partnering with site electrical maintenance contractors to establish and maintain a high standard of trade skill and execution capability to support plant needs.
- Providing electrical design development, evaluation, and implementation support for project engineers and unit maintenance teams.
- Managing Arc Flash Safety program and electrical/instrumentation PM documentation.
- Ensuring application of best-in-class technologies and techniques in control of electrical systems.
- Enjoy working with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges.
- Show a passion for reliability and proactive mindset.
- Demonstrate strong initiative and sound technical judgement.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial power distribution
- the ability to apply analytical problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve root causes
- the ability to distill complex technical information to speak to a broad group of stakeholders and facilitate a clear understanding of risk
- a proven track record of delivery against project objectives
- PMP and/or CMRP a plus
- Knowledge of steam turbine generator a plus
