About The RoleThe role of Director of Strategic Insights, Communications & Engagement with a focus on leading communications, senior partner engagement, and strategic insights, is multifaceted and important to the success of an organization.
Here's what you'll do:
  • Strategic Insight:
    • Provide strategic guidance and insights to the executive team based on a deep understanding of the organization's goals, market trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities and risks, and recommend actions to drive organizational success.
    • Collaborate closely with the CHRO and other senior leaders to develop and refine the HR's strategic direction.
  • Communications Leadership:
    • Develop and implement an effective communication strategy that aligns with the HR's goals and values.
    • Serve as a key spokesperson for HR, articulating its vision, mission, and key messages to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Oversee the creation of compelling content across various channels, including speeches, presentations, and social media, to enhance the HR and Inizio's reputation and influence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team, BU Presidents and Senior Leadership Teams, functional leaders, partners, employees, and community members.
    • Act as a liaison between the HR and its stakeholders, representing their interests and concerns to the HR Leadership Team and advocating for their needs.
    • Develop and execute engagement strategies to involve stakeholders in decision-making processes and ensure their continued support and commitment to HR and Inizio.
  • HR Strategy & Execution:
    • Support the development of HR strategy, planning and execution.
    • Develop communication strategy and materials to effectively align HR leaders/stakeholders around a shared understanding and drive execution of HR strategic priorities.
    • Collaborate with HR leaders to facilitate the effective operation of the HRLT.
  • Change Enablement:
    • Develop change management approach and templates to drive consistency and accelerate adoption for HR initiatives.
    • Serve as a strategic change advisor and leader for the implementation of HR strategies, initiatives and projects.
    • Develop key messages to drive organizational awareness and adoption of priority HR initiatives.
  • Strategic Initiatives:
    • Lead strategic initiatives, driving alignment and collaboration across BUs to achieve shared objectives.
    • Anticipate and mitigate potential risks and challenges, and adapt plans as needed to stay on track and achieve desired outcomes.
    • Coordinate progress updates and communications for key strategic initiatives.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Partner with a team of People Solutions professionals responsible for leading transformations, communications, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives.
    • Provide guidance, feedback, and support to help team members grow and succeed in their roles.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.
  • Executive Support:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CHRO and other senior HR leaders, providing strategic counsel, information, and support as needed.
    • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and other resources to help executives make informed decisions and effectively communicate with internal and external audiences.
    • Represent the CHRO in meetings, presentations, and other engagements as necessary.
    • Collaborate with the CHRO's Executive Assistant, providing work direction and coordinating activities and scheduling for the CHRO
About You:
  • 15 years of proven experience in progressive leadership roles with a focus on leadership alignment, change management, communications, engagement, and strategic planning and execution with executive level stakeholders in global organizations of varying degrees of maturity.
  • Ability to navigate organizational dynamics and influence others to drive to outcomes and deliver value
  • Strong team leader and people developer who can effectively guide and coach team members to elevate individual and team performance
  • Skilled and tactful communicator, both written and verbal, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) with experience developing and delivering executive level communications and presentations with exceptional writing and PowerPoint skills.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness, with the ability to handle confidential information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take on new tasks and challenges as needed.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a related field required; consulting experience preferred.
  • Life sciences / health care industry experience preferred.
