Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer support, maintain a welcoming environment, and ensure administrative tasks are completed efficiently. This role is a vital part of our dental practice, requiring a skilled and detail-oriented individual to manage our front desk operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors, answering phone calls and responding to queries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments, processing payments, and updating patient information.
- Utilize computerized systems to document patient interactions and maintain accurate records.
- Provide administrative support to the dental team, including data entry and calendar management.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including the reception desk, waiting room, and lobby.
- Handle front desk tasks such as answering phones, taking messages, and responding to inquiries.
- Offer exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, copying, and scanning documents.
- Assist with special events, such as new patient orientation and patient appreciation events.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless operations and maintain a positive and welcoming environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar administrative role is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of dental receptionist duties and experience working in a dental setting is advantageous.
- Proven organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for patients.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems and software for administrative tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple distractions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
