Position Overview: The Communications Representative is responsible for supporting the development and execution of effective communication strategies to enhance the organization's public image, disseminate information, and engage with stakeholders. This role involves creating, editing, and distributing content through various channels, managing media relations, and assisting with internal and external communications efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Media Relations:

   • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts.
   • Prepare and distribute press releases and media kits.
   • Coordinate and manage media inquiries and interview requests.
   • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on media activities.

2. Internal Communications:

   • Support the development and implementation of internal communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and information dissemination.
   • Prepare and distribute internal newsletters and announcements.
   • Organize and coordinate internal events and meetings.

3. Social Media Management:

   • Manage the organization's social media accounts, including content planning, posting, and monitoring.
   • Engage with the online community and respond to comments and messages.
   • Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement.

4. Crisis Communication:

   • Assist in the development and execution of crisis communication plans.
   • Prepare and distribute statements and information during crises or emergencies.

5. Research and Analysis:

   • Conduct research to support communication strategies and content development.
   • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform communication efforts.
   • Analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and prepare reports.
