Position Summary:

The Customer Service Officer is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients and customers. This role involves handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and courteous communication. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to maintaining high customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, live chat, and in-person.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.

• Problem Solving:

  • Identify customer needs and assist with the selection of products or services.
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate unresolved matters to the appropriate department.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records of inquiries, complaints, and comments.

• Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Update customer records in the database.
  • Prepare reports and summaries of customer interactions.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in training and development programs.
  • Provide feedback to management on areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
