Job Summary: The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting a wide range of data into our systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with various software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data accurately in various databases and systems.
- Perform regular data backups to ensure data preservation.
- Retrieve and review data from external and internal sources.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic reports by providing accurate data.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Follow data program techniques and procedures to maintain data entry requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
- Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
- Basic understanding of databases.
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
