Job DescriptionLogistical CoordinatorInland Crane, Inc is looking for a highly talented and motivated logistical coordinator to work on a Mega-Project in Boise, ID. This position is fully responsible for the project’s smooth and orderly, daily management of the Logistical aspect of the Laydown Yard, in spite of huge volumes of “incoming” and “outgoing” daily traffic in the Laydown Yard.
Essential Functions:
  • Coordination between the Shipping, Arrivals, Unloading/reloading at the Laydown Yard, and final deliveries to the Project Site.
  • Prepare final Liaison status update package on a weekly/monthly basis, for use by the project team.
  • Work with the Project Superintendents, to “reconcile” schedule issues and variances that occur on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
  • Recommend and implement agreed process improvements against the monthly project schedule
  • Prepare special project analyses for the PCM, SPM and Superintendents
Personal Characteristics/Skills:
  • Project-based Communication techniques, PCM Methods and practices, with middle-range skills with MS 365 apps (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, and Sharepoint). It would be fortunate, if this role also has some prior experience with ERP type apps, such as Constructware, PMIS, CMiC, Prolog, Procore or Blueteam, and more importantly, either MS Project, or P6 for the CPM scheduling software
  • Document control requirements and processes for storage, archiving, and retrieval.
  • Methods and techniques of monitoring compliance in compliance with PCM rules, regulations and/or policies.
  • Information and database software systems (Access preferred)..
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in the management of Project Controls, preferably within a project management, project controls environment, and must have included the use of some type of off-the-shelf database, such as Foxpro, Paradox, Access or similar.
Work Environment:
  • The work environment will within the Project Offices of a large, mega-project location in the Boise area. This office location will be at times, dirty, noisy, and difficult to concentrate in.
Compensation:
  • $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 range depending on experience.
  • Competitive Health and Retirement Plans.
  • Project Completion Bonus
