The Lot Attendant / Shop Technician Helper will be responsible for yard clean-up and organization; some shop clean-up; truck and equipment washing duties.

This position performs such duties as power washing trucks and equipment, moving vehicles, and cleaning the service lot.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs general shop clean up
• Cleans tools and equipment.
• Power washes / steam cleans all brands and makes of trucks and equipment
• Moves vehicles and equipment in a safe and conscientious manner, asking for help or direction if unsure of vehicle operation
• Ensures the wash bay is kept clean at all times.
• Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
• Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
• Removes all debris / garbage from lot and cleans up all scrap.
• Sweeps lot where needed.
• Becomes familiar with and complies with the company’s Health & Safety Manual.
• Other duties may be assigned

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Ambition to become a Service Technician
• Ability to become WHMIS certified (Canada only) or OSHA HCS trained (US only), if necessary

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 kgs or 50 pounds.
• Must be able to walk around exterior yard area (long periods standing / walking / bending).
• Must have the mobility to easily access and egress trucks and equipment.
• Must be willing and able to work various shifts, possibly including weekends.

SALARY

The pay range for a Lot Attendant is $20.62- $22.91 per hour.
