The Career Opportunity:The Senior Revenue Accountant is responsible for performingthe day to day functions of the PracticeTek Revenue team to ensure we operate as a best in class SaaS Revenue team, including timely and accurate invoicing, collections and revenue recognition and reporting.
The position is based in San Diego, CA with a hybrid work schedule (3 days per week in office).
Areas of Accountability:
- Revenue recognition and reporting
- Development and maintenance of documentation for all revenue processes, from quote to cash collection
- Ensuring billing systems are operating as designed on a daily basis, including accurate integrations, processing of credits, and correct and accurate invoice inputs
- Recording journal entries to accurately capture revenue, deferred revenue, contract assets, and accrued receivables
- Assisting in the audit process and inquiries
- Researching customer and other questions on invoices, balances, etc
- CPA preferred
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- 4 years of experience, with public accounting experience preferred
- Technical accounting skills, preferably experience with ASC 606
