Join InLine as a Network and Technology Technician I
InLine is on the lookout for a motivated entry-level Technician I to join our innovative team in the rapidly expanding Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) industry. This position offers a unique opportunity for those interested in a career at the intersection of technology and traffic solutions, especially in the age of smart cars and increasing traffic demands.
Job Summary: As a Technician I at InLine, you will assist with the installation, integration, servicing, and repair of cutting-edge equipment used in ITS and traffic signal management. Training will be provided by experienced professionals in the field, giving you the skills to work both outdoors on physical installations and indoors on advanced programming tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation and maintenance of ITS components, including traffic signals and Intelligent Transportation Systems.
Install and integrate ITS equipment such as cameras, radar detectors, electronic signs, communication equipment, and controller cabinets.
Work with electrical conductors, data conductors, and fiber optic cables.
Engage in the installation of pull boxes, conduits, poles, and foundations.
Support the testing of devices to ensure optimal functionality.
Required Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Some experience in programming devices such as layer 2 or 3 switches, cameras, wireless technology, etc. (training on specific standards and devices provided).
Valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL Class A license.
IMSA Traffic Signal Technician certification is advantageous.
Schedule:
8-10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

$20.00 - $29.00 per hour
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel as needed.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and overtime.
Physical ability to engage in various activities such as standing, sitting, and maneuvering through confined spaces.
Capability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Must meet specific vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, varying weather conditions, and potential traffic hazards.
Occasionally work in high, precarious places and environments where fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shock risks are present.
