Inmar is Hiring a Process Improvement Manager Near Grand Prairie, TX

With minimal guidance from a manager, the Process Improvement Manager directs efforts to lead Process Improvement and Change Management for the Grand Prairie, TX facility. This position will be required to be on site 5 days per week in Grand Prairie, TX. Primary Accountabilities: Lead site wide internal training and mentorship of our Lean Six Sigma program in Grand Prairie, TX. Be the resident expert of all fundamentals of Lean and Six Sigma, as a trusted resource within the organization. Train associates in Lean Six Sigma at an introductory level. Mentor trained associates through improvement projects. Measure and track outcomes of all improvement projects. Directly lead and manage the highest priority process improvement projects needed in the organization. Operate with independence and objectivity while leading efforts to develop and implement process improvements, change management and standardization of business processes. Design and administer programs, policies, and procedures according to company and client specifications to ensure objectives are achieved. Develop and maintain tools, metrics, and reporting to monitor compliance, success and sustainability of new or enhanced business processes and standards. Support operations and cross-functional teams in developing procedures, training programs and metrics to support business and system changes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred 8-10 years of related work experience in business, logistics, engineering or related field with a minimum of 2 years executing Lean Six Sigma projects; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this position Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certified required Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with confidence, clarity, and focus; able to convey concepts and considerations to non-technical and technical experts alike Leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across organizations, bridge gaps between teams, and successfully influence without authority Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and Google Suite. Experience with SQL is highly preferred. Industry experience within financial services, logistics, CPG manufacturer or Retailer, a plus Expected Travel of 10-20% Individual Competencies: Teamwork: Builds relationships and works cooperatively with others, inside and outside the organization, to accomplish objectives to build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships, leverage information and achieve results. Business Acumen: Understands and is aware of how to think about and successfully make the right business decisions through the utilization of industry-specific knowledge and skills and strategic thinking tools and skills.
