Innisbrook is Hiring an Administrative assistant Near Palm Harbor, FL

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Assist in the daily operation of the tennis center and provide administrative support to the Director. This position will work as an Administrative Assistant, but will also work on the floor.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in the planning and execution of all Member events, leagues, tournaments and programs.
  • Manage the Tennis checkbook, generate and track purchase orders.
  • Assist with marketing efforts for the tennis center in an effort to generate revenue opportunities.
  • Market, book and facilitate customized tennis packages.
  • Assist with retail merchandising and inventory control. Supervise shop attendants ordering supplies for locker rooms, maintenance and shop areas.
  • Assist in preparation of promotional and website materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service and help monitor guest feedback through the use of Revinate.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

College degree, high school diploma or GED. Active tennis player or knowledge of the game including USTA, leagues and tournaments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess basic computational ability.
  • Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, accounting programs, Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills. Creative in marketing, promotion, and programming.
  • Must be organized and be able to multi-task.
  • Professional demeanor, discretion, and appearance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors. Inside temperature is moderate and controlled by resort environmental systems.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours per day. Walking and standing are required. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
  • Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the resort on a timely basis.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
  • Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
  • Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, 10-key adding machine, multi-line touch tone phone, filing cabinets, FAX machines, photocopiers, and other office equipment as needed.
