Digital Strategist, freelance

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a freelance Digital Strategist to join our growing team!

This is a long-term freelance role through the end of the year.

We are a hybrid workplace x2 days week onsite. Only candidates local to SoCal will be considered.

OVERVIEW

The Digital Strategist helps shape the digital presence and marketing efforts for one of our key automotive brands. This role sits at the intersection of media, creative, data science and channel marketing, with a mandate to drive engagement with automotive shoppers. This position requires both strategic thinking as well as hands-on task management, with adherence to defined goals and performance metrics. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute effective digital strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and optimize personalized experiences for our client.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Develop and implement holistic and cost-effective personalized digital strategies across websites, email campaigns, digital media, and other channels.
• Leverage data-driven insights to create customized content, offers, and experiences tailored to individual customer segments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies across various digital channels.
• Drive value for the organization by achieving measurable results.
• Use data insights to continuously refine approaches and optimize outcomes
• Stay abreast of the latest digital tools, technologies, and interactive trends.
• Continuously evaluate industry best practices and emerging innovations.
• Apply insights to enhance our agency’s digital capabilities overall.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 8 years of digital strategy experience.
• Advertising agency experience.
• Automotive brand experience is preferred.
• Conversant in strategies and tactics across the broader spectrum of paid, earned and owned digital channels.
• Marketing and consumer research experience
• Passion for digital and its ever-changing landscape – media, platforms, devices - with a practical sense of how to apply your passions to drive results.
• Proficient at distilling data into insights to clearly articulate strategic direction.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with senior clients and internal team members.

The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $140,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
