Digital Account Supervisor, long-term freelance

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency in sunny Huntington Beach, CA is looking for a freelance Account Supervisor for our digital account management team. 

This is a long-term freelance role. We are a hybrid workplace, x2 days week in-office. Local candidates only please.

The digital Account Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of client’s automotive website initiatives that center around leveraging data to optimize a user's experience.

This role requires experience in a (digital) agency or client services environment. The successful candidate should possess good client contact skills including, but not limited to, conducting presentations, trouble-shooting problems and thinking on their feet.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Work with the client on a daily basis to identify needs and expectations on a major website redesign, large data-driven initiatives, and moderate enhancement projects.
  • Initiate projects derived from strategic/data insights, client/business needs, and creative ideas. Accurately plan and forecast project budgets.
  • Deliver on (medium to large sized scope) site updates and self-contained projects unaided. Takes ownership of deliverables and facilitates work effectively across internal teams and vendors.
  • Brief creative and production teams on project initiatives including website maintenance, development, and asset generation 
  • Identify key stakeholders and disseminate information as necessary
  • Present/communicate progress and outcome of projects to clients and determine best next steps
  • Facilitate internal and client reviews, update status documents, legal routing, contact reports, and meeting coordination
  • Results owner – can articulate past results and measurements strategy/optimizations
  • Be the steward of the agency’s brand management system and show solid knowledge of the client’s business (including pricing, product, sales, marketing channels, strategies, and competitive landscape). Able to lead client discussions regarding digital marketing insights and recommendations.

Management Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating closely with several cross-functional agency teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of objectives.
  • Manage client and vendor partners, fostering strong relationships, and serving as a reliable point of contact to address their needs and ensure satisfaction with our services and solutions.
  • Oversee the efforts of junior staff and provide guidance on projects
  • Oversee internal process


QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and Education

  • 5 years of experience in a client services function within a digital Marketing, Advertising, or Business-related field.
  • Preferred experience in website personalization, leveraging data insights to optimize user experiences and drive engagement for enhanced conversion and performance.
  • Preferred experience with ad/mar tech stacks, coupled with a grasp of AI capabilities, enabling strategic utilization to optimize campaigns and drive engagement.

Technical Knowledge

  • Knowledgeable in MS software, Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Knowledgeable in web development process

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Ability to assess a situation and make sound judgment calls / recommendations
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, external partners, and internal teams
  • Ability to manage budgets and agency billings

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
