Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monitoring, automating, and improving the reliability, performance, and availability of IT applications
• Work on tasks such as preventing incidents with setting up alerts for symptoms
• Run infrastructure with Terraform, Azure PaaS and/or Kubernetes
• Build effective monitoring system's with proactive and reactive alerts
• Build system health dashboards
• Build end user monitoring dashboards
• Work with Delivery teams to provide insights into monitoring data
• Manage deployments and incidents
• Integrate alerts with notifications engine

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in Software Engineering, SRE or Performance Engineering role.
• 3 years of experience in cloud architecture and administration, specifically with Azure
• Hand-on expertise with monitoring and logging tools such as DynaTrace , Mezmo, LogInsight, ThousandEyes etc.
• Experience with Azure cloud and Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS)
• Implementing monitoring, observability in AKS and K8S
• Able to script Automated performance testing scenarios for APIs and Web front ends and embed in CI/CD pipelines dashboarding/reporting query languages
• Experience building automation scripts for CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with GitHub enterprise, Git Actions
• Experience with Dashboarding and Reporting Management

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
