Full Job Description

Innolux USA is looking for an experienced Account Manager for their Avionic Sales Division. The Account Manager will work closely with customers and internal teams to support commercial activity related to our products. Role responsibilities include acting as a main point of contact for customers, ensuring timely response to customer inquiries, preparing sales reports and summaries, identifying growth opportunity, and working closely with internal teams to manage commercial activities. Primary objective is to build and maintain effective long-term relationships with a defined customer base to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increase revenues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Account Manager role is broken down into two different tasks, which include Account Management (AM), Supply Chain Management (SCM).

  • The Account Management portion of this position includes all commercial issues and negotiations with the OEM or Tier 1 buyers. In addition, AM is also responsible for resolving pricing discrepancies and payment issues where the buyer needs to be contacted. As the AM you will be required to work in cross functional teams.
  • The SCM portion of this position is focused on maintaining and analyzing the correct inventory levels to meeting EDI demand forecast and business plans, managing a third-party warehouse for shipping and receiving requirement and resolving all part shortages.

Responsibilities:

Account Management

  • Acts as a liaison between customers, plants and affiliate personnel in managing, implementing and negotiating complex and non-standard commercial and business related issues. Coordinates and provides support in all program activities from initial product concept to product EOP
  • Reviews request for quotation (RFQ) materials and related information. Works with internal departments including engineering and marketing management to proceed with quote process. Reviews information related to competitors, markets and customer; reviews engineering and purchasing opinions; helps develop and implement a pricing strategy or approach and presents and negotiates approved pricing to the customer including “total cost” (tooling, NRE, logistics and packaging).
  • Ensures accounts receivable (A/R) information is accurate and inclusive. Works with accounts receivable department to resolve purchase order (PO) discrepancies and assist with resolving accounts receivable issues. May be involved with complex negotiations related to the resolution of pricing discrepancies with customers or Innolux plants or other situations requiring more decisions.
  • Understanding the breakdowns of quotes and submission of quotes
  • NRE, Tooling requirements and invoicing
  • Supplier portal management
  • Contract / General Terms & Conditions (GT&C) review
  • Update and maintain a master price file
  • Set up new customers in our internal system

Supply Chain Management

  • Co work with HQ and production site to manage and executive Business plan, EDI/demand change to ensure continuity of supply
  • Facilitate materials management, production control and plant personnel in product phase-out activities. Supports negotiating product phase-outs with customer to ensure no obsolescence. Reviews customer specific service agreements related to post-production and take appropriate action.
  • Manage all prototype, pre-production, mass production, accessory and service requirements
  • Works with teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, Product Development) to solve problems arising from customer returns, process anomalies, engineering evaluations, and new product development
  • Develop and maintain relationship with customer to achieve the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction
  • Perform other related supply chain related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in business administration or marketing Or 2 years of automotive account managements experience

Skills & Abilities:

  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, with good concept of building up rapport and relationship with customers
  • Create analysis report (fill out results) and case studies (work instructions)
  • Demonstrate proficiency utilizing MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, photo-editing, writing technical reports
  • Ability to Travel (International & Domestic) up to 15%
  • Ability to work early/late hours for business meetings

Preferred:

  • Prior experience as OEM or Tier 1 supplier (preferably infotainment or display) account manager
  • Understand GM or Stellantis portals and how to navigate
  • Bilingual of English and Mandarin
