Responsibilities:

• The Claims Technology team is looking for a Sr. Data Architect/Lead Developer. As a Data Architect/Lead Developer, the candidate will work closely with business and technology partners to deliver solutions. This highly experienced Data Architect/Lead Developer will manage multiple project ETL implementations of the claims product in the Claims Technology space.

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years of proven, hands-on experience in API testing using SoapUI, SOA Test, or equivalent

Secondary Skill:

• Have experience as a Lead technical data developer in hands on role and architect looking to provide data design/architecture across multiple projects in Data Warehousing environment (7 years) with very large amounts of data

• Advanced Oracle PL/SQL experience (12 years) with ability to guide the team with performance tuning and optimizations
• Be able to design the conceptual, logical, and physical data models necessary to support the analytic data requirements for various department reporting needs.
• Strong experience building high performance ETL Data Frameworks with error handling and scalability.
• Strong analytics and communication skills including ability to drive diverse group towards common goals and clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions
• Ability to balance need to deliver multiple concurrent projects while maintaining architectural standards
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models
• Unix scripting experience.
• Creates documentation for all activities and work with project solution team in design of application and code developed.
• Improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability, and value. Challenges data and information integrity. .
• Strong Excel data analysis skills with pivots and graphs

Candidates must work well in a supportive and transparent team environment, while having the ability to research and resolve issues independently.

Candidates must have good communication skills and the ability to engage multiple business analysts and developers/dev leads and influence teams across Claims technology and the business.

Candidates must possess the following:

• advanced problem-solving skills, analyzing complex data and ability to connect dots to deliver projects concurrently
• advanced data visualization skills
• willingness to self-learn and ability to communicate verbally effectively and concisely and in written/presentation format.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau (preferred), Power BI, ...
• Experience/Exposure in in Python, Hadoop, and Gen AI/ML
• Financial Services/Banking industry experience a plus
• Fraud Detection, Prevention, Servicing, and/or Claims experience is a plus.

TOP Three: PL/SQL , Oracle, Claims AND Data Warehouse.
