Position Overview:

Innovation Depot is seeking a creative and driven Marketing Intern with a passion for graphic design to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You’ll work closely with our Director of Marketing & Operations, contributing to various marketing initiatives that promote our events, member companies, and Innovation Depot as a whole.

• Assist in the creation and management of content for social media platforms, including graphics, posts, and stories.
• Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns.
• Design digital and print signage for events, promotions, and internal communications using tools like Canva.
• Contribute to the creation of presentations and other marketing materials.
• Manage and update content on the Innovation Depot website.
• Assist with basic video editing tasks using iMovie.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote Innovation Depot’s events and the success stories of our member companies.
• Help maintain and update digital signage across the Innovation Depot facility.
• Assist with other marketing tasks as needed.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, ideally in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interest in graphic design and digital marketing.
• Experience with Canva or similar design tools. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus but not required.
• Experience with social media platforms.
• Familiarity with basic video editing tools, particularly iMovie.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a bonus.
