Overview:

Innovative Enrichment Services is a leading mental health services provider dedicated to offering comprehensive support to individuals with mental health conditions. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. The CNA will provide essential care and support to clients, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including eating, walking, grooming, and personal hygiene.

Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and caring environment.

Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility needs, including transferring, walking, and using assistive devices.

Meal Assistance: Assist clients with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.

Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in clients' physical and mental health to the nursing supervisor.

Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take medications as prescribed by their healthcare provider.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care and activities.

Safety: Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by following proper infection control and safety procedures.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team, including nurses, therapists, and direct support professionals, to provide holistic care.

Client Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and needs of clients, promoting their dignity and independence.

Qualifications:

Certification: Valid CNA certification in Virginia

Experience: Previous experience in a mental health or healthcare setting preferred.

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compassion: Demonstrated compassion and empathy for clients with mental health conditions.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and transferring clients.

Background Check: Successful completion of background check and drug screening.

Position Requirements:

· Minimum 18 years of age

· High School Diploma or GED

· Valid Driver's License

· Physical ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting up to 70 lbs., standing, walking, and other physical tasks.
