Inograft Biotherapeutics is Hiring a Sr. Research Associate/Associate Scientist - Protein Engineering/Immunology Near Palo Alto, CA

ABOUT INOGRAFT

Inograft Biotherapeutics, Inc. is a preclinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the development of best-in-class non-genotoxic bone marrow conditioning regimens for bone marrow transplantation. Formed in late 2022, with founders from Stanford University School of Medicine and Forty Seven Inc. (acquired by Gilead in 2020 for $4.9B), Inograft aims to develop life-changing therapies by applying proven stem cell therapies to areas of significant unmet medical need, including genetic disorders, autoimmune diseases, aging, and organ transplant.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Inograft Bio is seeking a highly motivated SRA/Associate Scientist to join the Protein Engineering team. This role will include cloning, protein production and QC, antibody screening, and immunology projects. Candidate is expected to be able to work independently in the lab with minimal supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Molecular cloning and sequence analysis
  • Protein expression in mammalian system and purification with AKTA
  • ELISA and cell based assays
  • Flow cytometry (Cell binding, ligand blocking, etc)
  • Other duties that may be assigned to help support the team

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • MS (2-4 years experience) or BS (6 years experience) in immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, bioengineering, or related field
  • Extensive experience with cell culture and sterile technique
  • Extensive experience with programs including Excel, Prism, Snapgene, Flowjo, Pymol
  • Extensive experience with mammalian protein production and characterization
  • Octet and Biacore experience is a plus
  • Organized and detail oriented

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $123,000. The actual salary will be dependent on various factors that may include experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities.
