Inpro Commercial Roller Shades, a subsidiary of Inpro, is currently seeking a Regional Sales Director. Job Summary: Lead the company's business to maximize sales and margins through specifications gained, bids won and relationships developed with key specifiers, dealers and other customers. Uses proficient selling skills, effective time management, strategic plans and the tools that Inpro provides to lead their team and to maximize sales results for the company. Coordinates sales efforts of Regional Sales Managers and works in partnership with Inpro Corporate sales team to maximize sales and margins. This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will reside near a major airport. Duties Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall sales performance and contribution margins.
Manage, monitor, evaluate, train, coach and inspire Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales Reps and team in a timely and effective manner; effectively address personnel issues as they arise.
Oversee and execute the sales and go-to-market strategy to meet or exceed annual sales goals and objectives.
Target, Develop and manage specification relationships with Architects, Designers, Developers, and Contractors to drive the Inpro Commercial Roller Shade position within the construction process.
Conduct and participate in in field level business development activities.
Ensure effective coordination and timely follow-up on projects bid and other customer communication.
Provide accurate and timely forecasts using CRM and other internal systems to manage opportunities and project pipeline.
Review pricing with appropriate parties on an as-needed basis.
Develop focused Strategic Sales Plans for each region; maintain plans in an on-going basis for each region addressing current market and competitive conditions; and to execute plan. Plans should address both business maintenance and growth strategies.
Coordinate Strategic Plans to ensure that the primary customer types and geographic areas are covered properly and in a timely manner to maximize sales results.
Continually pursue growth opportunities while maintaining existing business.
Effectively coordinate and communicate activities and information on accounts, competition and pricing with the appropriate team to maximize sales results.
Maintain accurate and complete personnel files; Conduct and document a minimum of one 1-on-1 per month per Regional Sales Manager; Maintain accurate and complete customer and sales records in CRM, track competitive pricing, specification inclusions and other activities in territories, and track quote results and close ratios.
Monitor all competitive activities in each territory to include competitive atmosphere, pricing, etc., and uses this information when pricing a job to maximize sales results.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Participate in company training programs and transfer these skills to the job.
Run and analyze KPI reports to optimize sales plan and gage performance. Prepare and present regular performance reports. Provide accurate and timely forecasts using CRM and other internal systems to manage opportunities and project pipeline.
Direct and oversees key and corporate account strategy, ensuring their satisfaction and developing business growth.
Participate in voice of customer activities to improve customer experience through product, process, and system improvements.
Qualifications
College degree preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales management, preferably outside experience
Must have in-depth experience and knowledge of commercial building industry at all levels. (End Users, Architects, Engineers, Contractors)
Knowledge of the construction process
Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and effective lead a team
Excellent negotiation, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of CRM systems and professional business software programs
Authority
Interviewing and hiring personnel
Train new hires
Conduct 1-on-1's
Corrective action including termination
Direct assignments and schedules of direct reports
Enforce company policies and procedures
Establish regional policies and procedures
Prepare a regional strategic plan
Prepare regional budget recommendations
Recommend compensation changes within budgetary guidelines, with final approval of VP and HR
Implement organizational changes
Negotiate pricing guidelines as needed with Vice President
