Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Marrero, LA

Pay: up to 110k

Required Skills and Experience:

● A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting or public

accounting.

● Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Public

Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), and financial reporting

requirements for publicly traded companies.

● Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

● Experience with supervising team members.

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Proven experience in conducting financial analysis and interpreting complex

financial data.

● Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate

with cross-functional stakeholders.

● Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet

deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present

financial information in a clear and concise manner.

● High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Plusses:

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA designation required.

Job Description:

● Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements, including income

statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP.

● Perform complex reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements,

and intercompany transactions.

● Monitor and review the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy,

completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and

regulations.

● Manage banking relationships and bank accounts and oversee monthly bank

reconciliation process.

● Oversee revenue recognition and revenue accounting including analyzing

application of ASC 606
