IT ASSET MANAGEMENT ANALYST II
OVERVIEW
The IT Hardware Asset Management Analyst is responsible for the procurement and strategic
management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization. This includes
planning, monitoring, and recording software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance
with vendor contracts. The individual will assist in forming procurement strategies to optimize
technology spend across the organization and will also develop and implement procedures for
tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles. The Analyst position is also responsible for Rental or leased equipment procurement, tracking and recovery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plans, monitors, procures and records IT hardware and software assets to ensure compliance with
company policies and vendor contracts.
· Account for the IT assets throughout the enterprise utilizing tools to manage all assets within the
organization and affiliated companies.
· Supporting computers, servers, and network assets throughout their lifecycle and coordinating
activities of internal IT teams.
· Define and maintain lifecycle support and implementation of tools such as ServiceNow
configuration and change management process.
· Collaborating with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure leads for the assignments of IT
hardware and related products.
· Participate in managing applications including but not limited to locating additional software
entitlements, communicating to end users to validate proper licensing, analyzing software end user
license agreements, managing maintenance renewals, running reports in ITAM systems.
· Deploy laptops, PCs, and peripherals.
· Identify and report on potential issues with asset tracking tools, supporting systems and inputs;
develop and maintain related program and process documentation.
· Track hardware entitlement and maintenance data to support refresh and end of life processes and projects; investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain integrity of hardware asset data.
· Manage preparation and distribution of pre-defined and ad-hoc reports; identify and recommend
hardware and software that could be harvested or replaced with lower-cost alternatives.
· Identify and report on potential issues with asset tracking tools, supporting systems and inputs;
develop and maintain related program and process documentation.
· Designing and generating reports and dashboards to provide insights into asset utilization,
compliance, and cost optimization.
· Vendor collaboration for equipment disposal.
· Collaborate with the Service Desk on hardware requests and recovery.

· You have an excellent working attitude while interacting with customers and colleagues.
· You can maintain and organize assets, warranty, maintenance, subscriptions, and contracts for
assets via ServiceNow.
· You can physically move lightweight equipment.
· You have knowledge of MS Office suite of tools, specifically MS Excel.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
· Must pass the Background Check
· Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.
· Experience working with an ITSM/Asset Management tracking module to ensure an accurate
account, ensure proper assignment and lifecycle replacement of software and hardware
· Must have 3 years’ experience in IT or financial analytics
· Working with carriers is a plus
